Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We take great pleasure in inviting you to the 18th Annual Congress on Controversies in Ophthalmology (COPHy), which will take place on February 26–27, 2027, in Milan, Italy.
Building on the outstanding success of previous editions, COPHy 2027 will continue its long-standing tradition of delivering high-quality scientific content and fostering lively discussion on the most debated topics in ophthalmology. The Congress has established a uniquely loyal international community, with participants, faculty, and industry partners returning year after year, contributing to its continued growth and reputation as one of the leading meetings in the field.
As always, the Congress will focus on controversies and innovations in retina, while also featuring dedicated sessions on uveitis, neuro-ophthalmology, and glaucoma.
Each topic will be followed by interactive debate and audience engagement, allowing ample opportunity for the exchange of ideas and experiences. Through evidence-based medicine, expert opinion, and open discussion, COPHy aims to provide practical insights and up-to-date recommendations on topics where consensus is still evolving.
Participants will have the opportunity to join a vibrant international community of ophthalmologists, industry leaders, and researchers, creating a unique environment for learning, networking, and collaboration.
Get ready for another exciting edition of COPHy, featuring thought-provoking debates, cutting-edge science, and world-class faculty who are not afraid to challenge conventional thinking and tackle the most controversial issues in ophthalmology.
We thank you for your continued support and look forward to welcoming both returning and first-time participants to Milan for COPHy 2027
Sincerely,
Prof. Anat Loewenstein Prof. Barry Kuppermann
