Marilita M. Moschos graduated first the Pharmacy School of the University of Patras and the Medical School of the University of Athens in 2000 with the highest grade amongst all students. She is actually working as Associate Professor of the Department of Ophthalmology of Athens University where she has the clinical and scientific co-responsibility of the Laboratory of Electrophysiology of Vision and Neuroophthalmology. She was also an official collaborator of Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens. She was honorary lecturer in the University of Cambridge where she worked in 2009 in the University Glaucoma Department of Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge in clinical, surgical and research fields. She authored or co-authored over 240 scientific papers in pubmed reviewed journals and presented over 120 at international conferences, in many of them as invited speaker. She also co-authored 4 international ophthalmological books and two greek ones. Finally she is a member of many international ophthalmological societies and reviewer in several ophthalmological journals.
