Alfredo Adán is Full Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Barcelona and Director of the Department of Ophthalmology at Hospital Clinic of Barcelona. He has given several named lectures and is a frequent invited speaker at national and international meetings. His areas of expertise include the diagnostic imaging in posterior uveitis, treatments of noninfectious uveitis, and surgical treatment of uveitis . He has authored or coauthored over 200 publications and 30 book chapters
