Orit Vidne-Hay, MD is a senior vitreoretinal surgeon at the Goldschleger Eye Institute, Sheba Medical Center, Israel. Dr. Vidne completed her Residency in Ophthalmology at the Goldschleger Eye Institute, as well as a surgical vitreoretinal fellowship followed by a two-year research fellowship at the Harkness Eye Institute, Columbia University, New York, USA. In 2009, she earned a M.P.H. degree from Tel Aviv University, Israel. For over 20 years, Dr. Vidne has been treating patients with both medical and surgical retinal problems. She has presented numerous talks in conferences in Israel and abroad, and has published papers in the field vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. She is a member of various ophthalmology societies, including the Israeli Ophthalmological Society, the Israeli Retina society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the Euretina society, and the American Society of Retinal Specialists (ASRS). Her main specialization is complex vitreoretinal surgeries, macular surgery, and ocular trauma.
