Dr. Jorge Ruiz-Medrano works as vitreo-retinal specialist at Puerta de Hierro University Hospital and at Ocular Microsurgery Institute IMO in Madrid. He specialized in Ophthalmology at Clinico San Carlos University Hospital and obtained his PhD Suma Cum Laude from Complutense University of Madrid. He completed two Fellowships in Retina & Ocular Oncology at Jules-Gonin Hospital in Lausanne and Bellvitge University Hospital in Barcelona.
He obtained his Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology in Paris in 2016. He has collaborated in more than 40 International Clinical Trials and he is currently focused on the investigation of pathologic myopia.
