Zur Dinah

Dinah Zur, MD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at Tel Aviv University, heading the Center for Retinal Degenerations, and founder and director of the Retina Research Center at Tel Aviv Medical Center.

Her publication portfolio includes over 90 peer-reviewed papers in the fields of Medical Retina and Imaging, reviews, book chapters, and Editorials. She serves as a reviewer in numerous high-impact scientific journals. Besides, she is a passionate teacher, and coordinated the CME programs in Ophthalmology at Tel Aviv University. She was honored with the ‘Science Award’ from Tel Aviv University and lately secured an academic physician scientist role.

Dr. Zur holds a position on the Board of Trustees for the Israeli ARVO affiliate and is part of the EURETINA Subspeciality Committee for Retinal Vascular Diseases. She is a member in various ophthalmology societies, including the Israeli Ophthalmological Society, Israeli Retina Society, EURETINA, and Macula Society. Dr. Zur is one of the founders of the International Retina Group, which fosters and promotes investigator-initiated independent studies.

Her main field of interest is in imaging, retinal vascular diseases and hereditary retinal diseases with special expertise in the set-up of large real-world integrative clinical and imaging datasets.
