Patricia is the co-founding, director and head of the retina division of Aiken Ophthalmological Clinic in Valencia, and is on staff in the medical-surgical retina division at University and Polytechnic Hospital La Fe, Valencia (Spain). She has been Professor of Ophthalmic Nursing and worked as an Associate Professor at the University CEU Cardenal Herrera Oria. Dra Udaondo is Associated Professor of Ophthalmology in The University of Valencia and Associated Professor of Advanced Optometry. She received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University Miguel Hernández de Elche, Spain and received the highest honors from the Hospital General Universitario de Valencia, where she specialized in ophthalmology. In 2014 she received the Achievement award of the American Academy.
She has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences and has been both an author and reviewer for several notable ophthalmic journals. Her main areas of interest are retinal disorders and ophthalmic surgery.
