Manuel Falcão, MD, PhD, FEBO is a Medical and Surgical Retina Specialist working at University Hospital S. João and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto, places where he did his pre and post graduate training. He also attended research training at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute University of Miami and Harvard Medical School. He has published over 90 peer reviewed papers and has participated in several clinical trials. His research interests are AMD, diabetic retinopathy, ocular trauma and endophthalmitis.
